Bologna is my favorite city in Italy so far. It captured my heart the moment I stepped from the train. The streets are full of people and you see beautiful buildings any way you look. What is more the city (at least the center) is quite easy to navigate without having your nose in the map all the time. The city used to be surrounded by a way which remainings are still there to see together with captivating gates.
