A mistery box

          A few weeks ago I bought a wooden box. I would like to put it on my new balcony (which I will have next year) and plant some flowers there or make it into a comfortable seat with pillows. 

For now the box is white but hopefully soon it will change into something more beautiful. I just need to have a brilliant idea.

A raft

             Mat number two :)

My first mat was a pig, but I love nature and especially bambus, so I decided to make one just like it.

Pigs

          I like making easy yet fun projects. It doesn't take a long time and basically guarantees a success.

Me and my niece like pigs. They are cute and sweet. Who doesn't like cuddly pig toys? :)

Lately I am crazy about creating mats for hot pots to be put on the table. Just put the mat and viola.

So fare I have created two such mats. The first one is a pig and the second one is a small raft.

Additionally for the mama pig I created 8 baby pigs - for hot tea maybe.

The owls again :)

              Some time ago I saw an owl in a shop. This owl is to put in front of the door so they will not close. I think it is brilliant and cute idea. One day I will make an owl just like this for my house. 

Starfish

           I like starfish. They are beautiful animals :)

Soon I will be decorating my new bathroom and I always wanted to have a sea like one. That is why I decided to make some decoration details, which I could place in the bathroom.

I started with a big starfish but I am also planning to make small tiles, which I can place as a decor around the bathroom.

Cupcakes

         I like to cook and bake from time to time. My most favorite things are those with chocolate. And cupcakes and easy and fast to make :)

Christmas bauble

         Christmas baubles I made last year. The core is styrofoam with different color sequins pinned into it with small pins. They are beautiful and sparkling and perfect.

Owls

           Recently I became obsessed with owls. They are fascinating. I decided to make a few cute owls for my room :)

Fish

           I had a deam about a strange fish once. And here is that fish :)

A spoon

         I like cooking. But everytime I do, I don't have a good place to put the dirty spoon on. Once I saw such a spoon (I don't know the proper name) in the shop and I decided to try and make something like that on my own on my pottery class. Hopefully it will work when it is done :)

Sushi set

            I would like to eat sushi on old looking plates like I did in Japan. The rustic style sutis sushi perfectly.

Hopefuly I will be able to decorate it in a satisfying way.

Incense holder

           I like burning incenses and I decided to make an incense holder.

A snake

        I got the inspiration to make a snake from one of the photos I saw on the internet.

           Snakes are strong animals which can move very fast, they are all muscels. My snake is a sort of fusion between a rattle snake and a cobra. I am not sure what colors I should use yet. Maybe a bit of brown.

Potter's wheel

          While learning pottery I decided to learn something about potter's wheel. I used many short instruction films on YouTube and it all looked so easy when the profesionals did it. 

          Well,  it is not so easy :)

          I tried it a few times before I decided that to try other things made of clay. 

        However, I managed to make one thing which was worth keeping. I cannot really name this thing but maybe I will be able to use it for something.

         In October I will perhaps try to learn again.

My invention 

A poppy seed flower

              I like flowers, especially in Winter ;)

             I saw a beautiful work of a poppy seed flower on the Internet. I decided to make the same. It did not, off course, but I made something silmilar to a flower - I hope. I decided to paint it red (or maybe blue) and a bit of black at the bottom. When the glaze runs down it will create a small paddle on the bottom I hope and it will look a bit more real. It is made in sch way that it can stand on its own. I guess I will be fine enough to make a nice decoration.

Flower vase

          I wanted to make something for dry flowers and I found my inspiration.

          It looked quite complicated with the flower pattern so I decided to make something of the same shape but perhaps with different decoration. 

          I have cut two similar parts for the sides and later I attached longer strip for the bottom. Next I added fillings on the sides and straps of clay to make three equal holes (but unfortunately one strip was lost during firing).

          Soon I will add some colors :)

Stars

         My next project were ... stars :)

       I decided to make a small decoration made up of little stars. I made the stars using baking utensils. After I made them I connected them all together using a little bit of water. I arranged them the way I wanted and later I added some color.

        I cannot wait for it to be fire. I will put it on the wall in my bedroom.
